Shellac in Gotcha

Love love love Shellac's new pink, Gotcha. It's from their Spring line. This picture makes it look a little darker than what it is. It's very similar to Zoya's Barbie in person.

It's a must for Summer!

Obsessive Compulsive Nail Polish Wasabi Swatch

Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics are outrageous! I love them, super bold and fun. Check out the polish I sported for St. Patty's Day. It's called Wasabi. I thought it would turn out green, but it was more of an electric yellow. It's pretty thin paint, so it needs about 3 coats to get rid of streaks.

Happy St. Patrick's Day - Add GREEN to Your Day!

Whether you're going out to celebrate, or just going to work today, you have to incorporate GREEN in your day for St. Patrick's Day (or you'll get pinched by an leprechaun)!

GET A GREEN GLOW
Hard Candy has a little bit of green in every part of their line! Eyeliners, shadows, mascaras and nail polishes. Best part, it's affordable. You can find the entire Hard Candy line at Walmart.com.

I got the chance to try a few of Hard Candy's green items:

The Lash Weave Lush Green mascara is awesome. It's not as bold as a black or blue mascara, but you will definitely see a tint of green in your lashes.

The Meteor-Eyes Baked Shadow in Space Cadet is a deep green when it's on your eyes. The sparkles that are in the pot don't really come across once on your skin. I found that adding a few drops of water to my brush before dipping it in the pot and applying helped to make the color more bold.

The Take Me Out Chopstick liner in Money is awesome. Full of glitter even with application. I think it looks best with black first, and then over dried black eyeliner to really make eyes pop.

Walk the Line Liquid Liner in Lucky is SUPER green. I mean, GREEN. It goes on really smooth and really bold. If you want to go really green, you could probably use this liner alone. Your eyes will be spotted across the room. But be warned, it's really hard to remove, so you may have green eyes for a few days :)CLEAN GREEN
Bath and Body Works has come through again with cute, fun antibacterials. Check out the Feeling Lucky green ones!

EAT YOUR GREENS!
Check out these Irish recipes at Yum Sugar. Guinness Ice Cream anyone?

RELAX...
End your night and detox in a bath with a LUSH Avobath Bath Bomb ($6.25). It's chock full of our favorite green vegetable avocado, skin is left moisturized and nourished. Lemongrass and bergamot stimulate the senses to get you going!

Please comment below and let me know how you're adding GREEN to your day :)

May your pockets be heavy and your heart be light,
May good luck pursue you each morning and night.
~Irish Blessing

Gelac Update

I've been meaning to give everyone an update on Gelac (see post Shellac vs. Gelac). Unfortunately, I have some bad news...it only lasted 4 days. But, I'm going to keep on trying it out. We have skipped a step or cut a corner or two, maybe we haven't perfected it yet. I'll keep everyone updated. But for now, if you're going to treat yourself, splurge on Shellac :)

Vera Wang Preppy Princess

What do you think of when you hear the word 'preppy?' Popped collars? Frat boys? Polo shirts? Once you smell Vera Wang Preppy Princess fragrance, you will think of something else - flirty girls who are stylish and like to have fun!

Vera Wang Preppy Princess comes up in a fun pink bottle with a blue and white plaid design. The top has a crown and ring top, similar to Vera Wang Princess. The fragrance features impressions of tangerine, red apple and succulent crushed berries. The eclectic blend of honeysuckle and jasmine matches the scent's classic meets edgy style, while the scent of sensual woods and an unexpected kiss of coconut water make you feel like you are popular, invited to the inner circle.

The dominate smell of berries is why I like it so much. It's not musky at all, and it reminds me of a scent I wore in high school, fruity and light.
