NARS Cosmetics' Fall 2014 Color Collection

Oh la la. This collection looks fierce. This is NARS Cosmetics 'Night Caller' Fall 2014 Color Collection. In addition to new autumnal products, the dramatic new palette also features new Night Series Eyeliners. These new eyeliners are suppose to glide on smooth and 'light up the night.' 

This collection will be available starting July 15th on www.narscosmetics.com, and in NARS boutiques.

Transition from Summer to Fall

We are deep into Fall now, and some news reports are even predicting snow soon! Best part about living in the north is experiencing 4 different seasons...which means 4 different wardrobes! 

I love being able to carry some items over from season to season, and wear them in a different way. I'm currently loving layering sweaters over my summer dresses with tights. The sweater pictured is from the Catherine Malandrino line from Kohl's. It's layered over my black go-to sundress from this summer. Paired with black opaque tights and booties totally transforms this dress to a cozy, tres chic, Fall look.

Opening Night - a debut-worthy fuchsia (similar to Zoya's Mason)

Standing Ovation - a green guaranteed to get glowing notices (I will be sporting this for St. Patty's Day for sure)

Overture - the start of something big in iridescent copper (fun to wear with neutrals)

Blue Aria - an unforgettable song in cobalt (Love the name! This is a dark blue. Looks black in most lights)
Prima Donna - a violet celebration of the inner diva (fun purple for fall!)

I'm a huge fan of Jessica Cosmetics nail polishes. This line is perfect for the Fall we're having in Michigan. It's 80 degrees! But I can still get away with wearing some of these colors (Prima Donna, Opening Night, and Standing Ovation) since they aren't too dark, and could pass for a Spring/Summer shade.
