Whether you're going out with your main squeeze or having a ladies night out this Valentine's Day, you have to prep! Some of you may even be celebrating early this weekend. Here are some helpful products, tips and tricks for getting all prettied-up for February 14th :)
Bliss Fabulips Treatment Kit
Every pair of lips need a good scrub, especially with this dry winter weather. Bliss Fabulips Treatment Kit gives your lips the extra TLC they need. It's an easy 4 step kit that will make your lips soft and plump. The kit includes:
Step 1 Foaming lip cleanser - This is the coolest. Put a thin layer on your lips and watch it foam up as it lifts impurities from your lips.
Step 2 Sugar lip scrub - Apply a thin amount and massage into lips with your finger. The scrub will remove dead skin and polish your lips. I used a damp wash cloth to remove the scrub afterwards.
Step 3 Instant lip plumper - Add some volume to your lips with this lip plumper. It's a gloss, so I usually put the balm on first, and then follow up with this.
Step 4 Softening lip Balm - Love this balm! If you know me, you know I have a moisturizer/balm in every corner of my house! This one is a keeper. Goes on ultra smooth, not too chalky or balmy, and lasts.
The kit retails for $45, which is a great deal compared to all the items you receive purchased separately.
Glowology Amazing Legs
Amazing is right. This shaving cream is dreamy. Get your legs ready for your Valentine's Day dress with Glowology Amazing Legs. This shaving cream is formulated with Pacific Sea Kelp and Vitamin A (which is known to treat eczema). It's also clinically-tested and hypoallergenic. It didn't bother my eczema and I got a clean, close shave with it. A little goes a long way too. You don't have to slather it on real thick to use it. The 4.5 ounce tube sells for $14.99 on
Glowology.com.
Arm & Hammer Baking Soda
I remember my grandma use to make me brush my teeth with baking soda when I spent the night at her house. I always thought it was odd, and tasted a little funny, but never questioned it, because I always knew that grandma knew best!
Baking soda can act as a gentle exfoliate for your teeth. A sprinkle of Arm & Hammer Baking Soda on top of your toothpaste on your toothbrush, can help to lift stains from teeth, leaving them sparkly white. I always like to use it at night after I've had a glass (or two!) of red wine.
