CitySlips Review

In the winter, I swear by my UGGs to get me through the Michigan winters. I wear them from my car to work, and once I get in the office my UGGs come off and I put my heels on. For the summer months, I wear flip flops as my 'commuting' shoes, and for this Fall, I'm wearing CitySlips.

CitySlips are ballet like slipper flats that fold in half, and fit inside a small tote. The pouch unfolds into a larger tote so you can carry your heels in it. Genius, really. These slips are perfect if you walk to work, even a few blocks. I love my heels, but I don't like wearing how they make my feet feel after 9 hours at work, so it's nice to slip into something comfortable at the end of the day on the way to my car.CitySlips convertible pouch into a tote bag

What's in My Beach Bag? Sothys After-Sun

No matter how much sunscreen you use, after being out in the sun all day, your skin is going to experience some damage, whether it be a sun burn or drying, you need to moisturize at the end of the day.

I've found Sothys Soothing After-Sun lotion, part of Sothys's Cellu-Guard Sun Care line, to be a perfect way to end my day after being out in the sun. It's refreshing, almost citrus-y, scent isn't over-powering, and it immediately softens my skin. It contains soothing active ingredients, and prevents photo-induced aging.
